Letter Of No Objection
To apply for a Letter of No Objection, please submit:
- A written request to this office, which must include the reason for your request, your case number¹ and a Resume´.
- A copy of the first 5 pages of your Jamaican blue passport or the picture page of the new machine readable passport and the US J-1 visa.
- Taxpayers Registration Number.
Fee: US$70.00 (Cash or local Money Order made payable to the Consulate General of Jamaica).
¹ For information and procedures on how to apply for the waiver of the J Visa Residency Requirement, visit the US Department of State website at www.travel.state.gov. You will be given a case number, which is to be submitted to this office as part of the process for the Waiver.
