Adoption of Children in Jamaica

Orphan Adoption

A person living in the United States of America may adopt an orphan child in Jamaica. In the event that a child has been identified for adoption, the adoptive parents should so inform the Child Development Agency in Jamaica. In the event that a child has not been identified, then the applicant could request the assistance of the Child Development Agency in locating a child. The Child Development Agency will require the following documents:
